Okay, folks. Here's the deal.

By now, you've heard that Scott Jarkoff, aka °jark, is now a FORMER Staff Member.

I'm not privy to the whys, wherefores, and whatever-the-hells are going on behind the scenes here. Don't ask me anything about that. I know probably just as much as you do.

DeviantArt, in my opinion, is becoming less about COMMUNITY and more about CORPORATION.

So what we need to do is bring back THE COMMUNITY.

Here's my suggestion.

On August 7th, DA turns five years old. Five years for a website like this should be a grand affair, one big event.

So don't submit anything on August 7th.

I'm talking a print, a deviation, a scrap...nothing.

Instead, just leave a comment. Visit a user's page and just say hi.

If someone wants to buy a subscription that day, I'm all in favor or it. It'll keep the servers going, and anything that keeps the hamster running is a good thing.

BUT...I think folks shouldn't buy any prints. No print subscriptions. That goes against the COMMUNITY theme for the day.

We want to put the COMMUNITY back into DA.

Dude, the oddest thing just happened to me. I figured I would log onto DA really quick before I went out to try and work on my picture of my soon to be created Musketeer Usul, and when I did, I got this thing saying that I had recieved a free one week subscription to DA!

So now i've got a message board and all this stuff! Woot it rocks XD So POST People lemme messages on my tag board!

Well this should be my Merry Christmas Journal but its not XD instead its my 5 days before Christmas rant XD

Anyways im so stressed right now we just finished our school play Babes in Toyland, Which may I add, MY LIGHTING KICKED ASS XD anyway, then we had to strike the set, what a pain in the ass, well after that we went to lok at Chiristmas lights TWAS FUN ^^ YAY FOR CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS...

*cough* anyway im dying I cant get Muffins pictures to come out good ;-; Im drawing his aisha, and his birthday present, neither of which will come out good enough for me to submit x.X

PLUS I have to draw for my OSP secret santa and I have no idea what to draw them

Sorry im just venting off soem anger and depression and trying to get my feelings out about how I feel..

Most of you probably dont know yet but last night, the 3rd Angela Ordenaux of Prairieville LA was killed bu her ex husband..

Angela was a dear friend, she helped my family when we needed it most, when my mom decided to move away form my dad becasue he woulodnt leave her alone, she couldnt find a house, Angela opened hers to us, and we gratefully accepted, a few monhtes passed and Mum found a house! RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET!

We were all so happy, she was my moms best freind, they loved doing everythign together XD They even ruled over a BAr DART LEAGUE 2 years strait

As I said she was a dear freind Loved, and she will be missed..

Anyway her ex MUDERED her or at least thats my opinion and he did it front of her daughter who is 13..

He came to thier house and was bringign them to the bar for a dart game when he began hitting on her and cussing at her, after she had had anough she threatned him by yelling if you dont let go of me im jumping out of the car.. Obviously he didnt let go, so she opened the passenger side door, and as soon as she did he purposely swerved the car into an empty lane of traffic, and making Angela fall out of the truck, head first onto the street, she died form severe head injury..

God Bless you Angela and dont worry he WILL DIE for this he took someone form us that we loved dearly and for that he deserves death..

and dont be afraid to stop by and visit some time ^^ Ill be nice hell if you wouldnt just be an "apparition" as experts say ID hug you to death AGAIN
